The opening hours of the Fuentes del Algar are different depending on the time, being as follows:
- December, January and February: 9 a.m. m. at 3:30 p.m. m.
- With the exception of December 24, 25 and 31, and January 1 and 6, which is closed.
- March, October 21-31 and November: 9 a.m. at 5:30 p.m. m.
- April (except 19 to 22), May, June 1 to 16 and October 1 to 11: 9 a.m. m. to 6 p. m.
- April 9-22, June 17-30, and September 9-30: 9 a.m. m. to 7 p. m.
- July, August and September 1-8: 9 a.m. m. to 8 p. m.
- October 12-20: 9 a.m. m. to 4 p. m.

Where to eat in Les Fonts d’Algar? In the area there are five restaurants and a picnic area where you can enjoy a good meal.
Casa Marcos Restaurant
Family restaurant founded in 1957 and located near the main entrance of Las Fuentes del Algar. It has capacity for 350 diners distributed in two air-conditioned rooms. In the months of July and August it has a self-service line. It has swimming pools with a children’s area and private parking for clients. In addition, there is fast food service. The specialties on the menu are sweet and dry rice dishes, dishes with medlar as the main ingredient and home- made desserts.
El Algar de Don Joan Restaurant
Restaurant specialized in Mediterranean cuisine. Capacity for 350 persons distributed in a big dining room. Ideal for families who want to enjoy good, natural and healthy food. Its specialty is paella, rice dishes and grilled meat. It has a terrace overlooking the pools and the restaurant’s playground. It is open from 9:30 a.m. m. until 8 p.m. m.
El Valle Restaurant
It has a terrace-solarium with a beautiful view of nature, parking for clients and a lounge- dining room bar for 80 people. This restaurant has been a family business since 1971. Its specialties are home-cooked meals, fish, meat, pasta, rice, homemade desserts and loquats with medlar honey, Cointreau or cream.
La Cascada Restaurant (Casa Federico)
Open space to nature, overlooking the Algar river and with capacity for 200 people distributed in a living room plus two terraces. It has a children’s area and pool, private parking. It has been operating since 1968 with a family regency. Its cuisine is traditional, specialized in rice dishes. They prepare menus for large groups and for celebrations.
Les Fonts Restaurant (Ca Nasio)
Located by the main waterfall Toll de la Caldera, starting the route from Les Fonts d’Algar. It enjoys privileged views of the Algar river and the Ponoch and Aitana mountains. Family business since 1973. It has two terraces, a dining room, a modern kitchen and parking for customers. Its specialty is Mediterranean Food, highlighting rice dishes, Mediterranean salads, traditional entrees, fish stews and grilled meats. Without overlooking their wines and desserts.
Picnic zone
For those who prefer to bring their own food, they can enjoy it in the Picnic Area. With capacity for more than 500 people distributed in 60 tables. It has toilets and vending machines for water, soft drinks and different snacks.
Walk through the facilities of the Fuentes del Algar
What to see in the Fuentes del Algar? Enjoy a 1.5 km long walk along the river, to discover all its pools and waterfalls, admire the views and appreciate the ecological wealth of the place. Upon entering, you will find the Font del Moro, and then access the Toll de la Caldera where the main waterfall is.
As you climb the stairs you will pass through Toll Blau and Toll del Baladre, where there is a surface to jump into a pool. It is not very high, so many are encouraged to take a dip. On your walk you will continue through the Toll de la Presa and the Toll de la Figuera to reach Playa de la Tribu. The area of these tolls is ideal for resting and for children to play.
